Our weighted blanket models simply explained

In recent years, we have been able to help many people achieve better and more restful sleep with our therapy blankets. Our goal remains to naturally provide adults and children with sleep problems and illnesses a better sleep and to improve it permanently without medication.

In recent years, we have developed different techniques and cover systems and optimized our weighted blankets for our customers. In this blog post, we explain which models we offer and how they differ from each other.

The medical weighted blanket

The medical therapy blanket is our most original weighted blanket, with which we wanted to make a medical product available to everyone. The medical therapy blanket has no removable cover. It is made of 100% cotton and therefore cools excellently in warmer temperatures. The filling consists of fine micro glass beads sewn into equally sized squares so that the weight is distributed over the entire blanket. The simple construction of the blanket convinces many customers because it can be used as a normal duvet in summer or as an overblanket in colder temperatures. 

The loop (formerly Standard/Gravity) weighted blanket 

The loop therapy blanket is our most popular and well-known model. We offer two different removable covers for the standard blanket. The covers are made of high-quality cotton or cotton and a minky velvet fabric.

The loop weighted blanket consists of two parts: inner lining and cover. The weight is created by fine micro glass beads sewn into squares in the inner lining. The cover is tied to the inner lining with a loop system so that the cover does not slip. The blanket adapts to the body through the movement of the beads.

The zipper (formerly Premium/Balance) weighted blanket

The zipper blanket combines many advantages in one blanket. It impresses with easy handling, optimal weight distribution, and zippers for covering.

The zipper therapy blanket consists of a removable cover and inner lining. These are attached to each other on the sides by practical zippers. Removing and changing the cover can be done quickly and easily. Thanks to the zippers, cover and inner lining remain firmly connected and do not slip.

The weight of the zipper (formerly Premium/Balance) blanket is created by small stainless steel beads glued inside the inner lining. Distributed over the entire blanket, the weight acts evenly on the body. Due to the fixation of the beads, the blanket is stable and firm.

The covers, like those of the loop blanket, are made of high-quality cotton or cotton and minky velvet fabric. The difference is that the cover is attached to the inner lining by zippers.
